Packed with Medjool nuts and dates, these natural energy bars will keep you energized all morning long.
INGREDIENTS:
- 10 pitted medjool dates
- 1 cup peanut butter (salted)
- 1/4 cup shredded coconut
- 1/3 cup oats
- 2 tablespoons honey (or maple syrup)
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips
PREPARATION
Step 1. In a food processor, add pitted dates and peanut butter. Blend for a few minutes. Then add the other ingredients.
Step 2. In a rectangular pan, add baking paper and pour the mixture. Flatten the mixture with the help of a spatula.
Step 3. Once the mixture is flattened, transfer the pan to the refrigerator for about 1 hour.
Step 4. Remove from the fridge, cut into a traditional bar shape and add some shredded coconut.
Step 5. Ready to be enjoyed!
